ASCE New Faces of Civil Engineering Alumni: Persisting in a Male-Dominated Profession

The civil engineering profession is expanding to include more women among its ranks than ever before. But recent data still puts the number of women in the field at only 16%. Clearly, more work remains to be done. In this session, three female New Face Alumni note the challenges they’ve faced in a male-dominated profession, how they’ve seen the industry change over the last decade, and share the strategies that have made them such successful civil engineers.
