The Civil Engineering workforce is ever changing and becoming more complicated with the Baby Boomer generation retiring, limited participation from Generation X who still remains in the industry, many millennials moving into leadership roles, and now generation Z coming into the industry with relatively lower numbers than previous generations. Industry leaders are having to look and redefine the engineering team to ensure client satisfaction is met while still protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the general public.
