Welcome Reception at Museum of Science and Industry

It’s a movie premier and we want you to be ASCE’s special guests on the green carpet!

The 2023 Welcome Reception will be held at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry (MSI).  Attendees will have access to a special screening of Cities of the Future: Reimagining Our World, enjoy light refreshments and drinks, and can browse some of the exhibits that MSI has to offer.

Included with your 2023 Convention registration, each attendee will be issued a timed ticket to the movie premier.  Transportation to and from MSI is provided.  Buses will be running between the Hilton Chicago and MSI beginning at 4:30 PM until the end of the final movie screening.  Please note your viewing time when departing for MSI.

We recognize that it may be difficult to plan for two formal events, especially when you may be arriving at MSI directly from a short course, technical tour, or a late flight.  The suggested attire is “Black and/or White – but make it elegant”.  We have the green carpet, it’s up to you to add the light and the contrast.
