Abstract: Ever wondered how you could use Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) on your next project? Tune in to see examples of the UAS work we’ve been doing across the nation….from bridge inspections, to airport obstruction analysis, to communication tower collections, we’ve done a wide range of projects that showcase how UAS can be utilized in engineering applications. The use of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) has expanded in the last several years, and as this versatile technology is explored, new opportunities for better information are available for designers, inspectors, and owners. The UAS technology has been adapted to several sectors including bridges, highways, aviation, and environmental applications. The mission objectives range from collecting topographic data, high-resolution imagery and video, to 3D models for quantities, surfaces for design, and asset monitoring.
