Edward McGuire, PE, F. ASCE. earned a Bachelors’ of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1992 and has worked for the City of Henderson NV Public Works Department for over 29 years. Ed has held a number of positions of leadership in the Department including Project Design Engineer, Quality Control Manager, Facility Maintenance Manager, City Engineer and currently serves as the Director of the Public Works Department. ASCE Member since 1988, Ed was elected to ASCE Fellow in 2013. Ed currently serves as Vice Chair of the ASCE Annual Conference Advisory Committee and Program Subcommittee for the 2022 Annual Convention in Anehiem CA.
