After an attempt to host this panel session at the 2024 ASCE Convention, we are trying again! This session is designed to bring together a panel of engineers from a diverse background of experiences to share different pathways and guidance around the topic of leadership. Do you want to learn more about best practices for leading your section or branch? This is the session for you! Do you want to learn about founding your own company? We've got that covered! Do you want to learn about leadership from the context of the military/ government? We'll have a panelist to talk about that as well! In 2024, our panel was set to include a government engineer in a management role, a team manager at a private company who has ASCE leadership, our ASCE President-Elect and former company founder, a professor from West Point, and a recent college graduate. We aim to produce a panel with a similar structure should this session advance to the 2025 program.
