The Overview of Case Studies of Fraud & Corruption on Government Programs

The historic high levels of government spending for infrastructure has created an environment of increasing risks of fraud and corruption. Unfortunately the level of fraud and corruption is increasing. This is a Moderated Panel Discussion of government officials with first hand experience of fraud and corruption on government contracts. The Panel will describe the current government spending progams which create a high risk environment; present recent examples of fraud and corruption; how the cases were opened; the investigative process; data and analysis to support the investigation and results of the prosecution. The Panel will share the government framework and procedures to identify and mitigate risks, including "Red Flags". Audience members will have opportunities to ask questions and share other experiences.
