Mike Loose, PE, Dist.M.ASCE, F.SAME(Dist.), NAE, NAC, retired from the Parsons Corporation as the Corporate Operations Officer. He previously served as the Parsons Transformation Program Manager and before that he led the global infrastructure and environmental services for their Federal clients.  Prior to Parsons, VADM Mike Loose, CEC, U.S. Navy (Retired) served as the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Fleet Readiness and Logistics, responsible for the policy, programming, and resourcing of the U.S. Navy’s energy, environmental, and logistics programs and the maintenance and operations of its ships, submarines, aircraft, and shore infrastructure.  He previously served as the Commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and Chief of Civil Engineers.  Mike is an Executive Fellow of the Institute for Defense and Business and a past National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Board of Directors member.  He is a member of  the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) and the Virginia Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine.  He is a member of the National Academy of Construction (NAC) and serves on its Executive Committee. He served as a past member of the ASCE Board of Direction and Chair of the Industry Leaders Council. He is a Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Distinguished Fellow, served as a past SAME National President, as a member of the SAME Foundation ‘Founding Board’, and later served on the inaugural SAME Foundation Board of Directors.  He earned his BSCE from the University of Kansas and his MSCE from the University of Washington. He is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in California.
