From the White House to the State House: What does Election 2024 Mean for Infrastructure

General / Main

The 2024 election is just around the corner, with American voters heading to the polls on November 5th to decide who will take the White House and statehouses across the country, which party will control Congress, and what states will operate under a trifecta government.   While investments made under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act continue to be implemented at the federal, state, and local level, that legislation expires in September 2026, meaning the candidates who win this November will determine the future of federal infrastructure investments for remainder of the decade. Join Jeff Dufour, Editor in Chief at National Journal for insights about how the election is shaping up, what we might expect on Election Day and beyond, and the role that infrastructure might play in the 119th Congress.
