ASCE OPAL Awards Gala

Friday, October 8, 2021 | 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. ET

The OPAL Awards Gala is included in the ASCE 2021 Convention registration. The event is free for all attendees. A confirmation will be emailed to all registrants after checkout. A non-transferable password-protected participation link will be sent to all registrants prior to the convention dates. To view the OPAL Gala virtual event the platform requires you to use the same email address you used when registering. Only one device per registration will be able to access and view the gala.

Confirmation of Registration and Participation Link

A confirmation will be emailed to all advance registrants prior to the conference. A non-transferable password-protected participation link will also be sent to all registrants. You must use the same email address that you used to register to participate in the virtual event.

Payment Information

Acceptable forms of payments include:

  • Check: payable to ASCE Convention (in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank. Include attendee's name in the memo area of the check).  All checks must be received by Wednesday, September 22, 2021, so registrations can be processed in time.
  • Credit card: American Express, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and Diners Club
  • Purchase order: P.O. #, company name, and address or other billing address

To receive a refund of the registration fee, cancellations must be received in writing at the ASCE Headquarters by Wednesday, September 22, 2021. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds..

Professional Development Hours

PDHs are a recognized unit of record in non-credit professional development programs and can be earned for participation in this conference. If you register for the conference and attend sessions in their entirety during their scheduled times, you have earned Professional Development Hours.

Please keep track of the various sessions and presentations that you attend. A full participant in this conference may earn up to 10 PDHs by participating in the conference sessions from October 6–8, 2021. The entire conference will be recorded and available to registrants to view afterwards. PDHs will not be awarded for viewing the recorded sessions after the convention ends.

An additional 15* PDHs can be earned by participating in the ASCE Tech Talks included in your convention registration every Tuesday from October 12 – November 16, 2021. You must attend live to earn PDHs.

Since continuing education requirements for P.E. license renewal, including what content is accepted, vary from state to state, we strongly recommend that individuals regularly check the state registration board(s) for their specific continuing education requirements that affect P.E. licensure and the ability to renew licensure.

Within thirty (30) days after the end of the convention, the session attendance information will be uploaded into ASCE’s MyLearning system and you will receive an email from ASCE with detailed instructions on how to access MyLearning and verify your session attendance. By accessing the MyLearning system for this conference, you automatically agree and certify you attended the selected sessions. Within thirty (30) days after the end of the last Tech Talk session, ASCE will send further instruction on redeeming PDHs for Tech Talk sessions attended.

The system will remain open for one year to allow you time to make any adjustments and print your certificates and transcripts. Beyond one year, you will need to contact ASCE Customer Service at [email protected] or (800) 548-2723 to modify your conference attendance information.
