Speakers

The following information is for speakers at ASCE’s 2025 Annual Convention, occurring October 8-11, 2025.

NOTE: This event will be in person in Seattle, Washington, please note that there is not a hybrid option available for speakers. 

Registration for the ASCE25 

It is mandatory that you register and pay for the conference per the guidelines in our call for submissions. Please refer to the Registration page to find the method of registering that best suits your needs. We highly encourage that all speakers register for the full conference. 

Preparing for Your Presentation

When is my presentation/how long is my presentation?

  • All presentations in the concurrent technical sessions can be found on the Program page of the website.
  • Timing and further information can also be found in Cadmium.

 

Do speakers need to register?

  • Please make sure all of your presenters and panelists are registered for the conference. Reach out to [email protected] if you have misplaced the speaker discount code.

What AV will be in the room?

  • Each session room will have a microphone, laptop, projector, and screen. Sessions that will have more than one speaker will be provided the necessary number of microphones.  

 

Is there a slide template?  How should I design my slides?

  • Yes, there is, it should be available in Cadmium now.  The primary speaker for each presentation should see it as a "task" in their Cadmium portal.
  • Please design your slide format in the standard 16:9 slide size format by using the provided template.

 

What should I do the day-of my presentation?

  • Please arrive to your assigned presentation room 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled presentation time.
  • Please bring a copy of your presentation on a USB.
 
Cancellations & Refunds

To receive a refund of the registration fee, cancellations must be received in writing at the ASCE Headquarters by September 24, 2025. A $100 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds.  Substitutions are acceptable, if received in writing.
